The QCs are marking their 78th year after forming in Chicago in 1946. Spencer Taylor Jr. took over as lead singer in 1956. His predecessors in the group included Johnnie Taylor, Lou Rawls and Sam Cooke. The Godfather turned 96 this year and is still going strong.
