We hope you’ll attend this outstanding concert and experience an evening of contemporary solos and duo music featuring Gordon Beeferman on piano and Stephanie Griffin on viola. The program highlights Tunnel Visions, a dynamic four-movement duo that navigates through intricate microtonal landscapes, and Morton Feldman’s evocative The Viola in My Life (3), where Feldman creates a unique tapestry of melody and static sound inspired by abstract painting.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early to delight in our delicious food-truck lineup and listen to great music by the local indie rock band, Fuzzy Peppers. Food trucks will be at the park from 2-9 p.m., and the live band will be performing from 6:00-9 p.m. There will also be an activity station where cornhole bags and horseshoes can be checked out. Disc golf will be open on the backside of the park closest to Hendersonville Road.

- Park at Estes Elementary. Our shuttle will be transporting guests to Lake Julian from this parking lot only. Only vehicles with a valid handicap placard are allowed inside the park. Limited parking is also available in the gravel lot next to Wild Wing Cafe.
- Alcohol and tobacco products are prohibited on the grounds at Lake Julian Park. Pets are not recommended.
- Be sure to bring a blanket or lawn chair to relax around the lake.

GTTM has served the Asheville Community for over 16 years and has helped hundreds of WNC Students discover the joy of music by raising more than $275,000 providing for scholarships to fund private music lessons, Rock Academy band lessons, summer camps, and musical instruments.

We are excited to announce that renowned keyboardist Adam Holzman, an innovator in jazz, classic rock, and progressive rock keyboards will perform a synthesizer and piano concert at Static Age Records. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the show will begin at 8 p.m. For the performance, Holzman will create all sequences and loops in real-time analog without the assistance of a laptop. When asked to describe the concert, Holzman stated, “It will be sort of Tangerine Dream meets Keith Jarrett.”
