KD Groove Alliance is a 7-piece soulful, bluesy rock band from Asheville, NC. The band was formed in 2022 by Kevin Dolan with a desire to create great original music. The band members have known each other for years through various musical projects in the Western NC area.

The events will feature beer from Highland Brewing; cider from Appalachian Mountain Brewery; wine from Metro Wines; food from Gypsy Queen Cuisine and Cecilia’s Food Truck, Bigfoot-Longs Hot Dogs, and KONA Ice; and music by Mix 96.5 (June 14), 105.9 The Mountain (May 10), The Realtorz (July 12), and the Passionistas (August 9).

On SATURDAY, JUNE 15, we’re kicking off summer with a new Hillman beer and FREE live music from 2-9pm. SUMMER CRUSH: This crisp summer ale is a happy accident that just keeps on giving. Originally it was an accidentally dry-hopped Kolsch, but this year we did it on purpose! It has the malt profile of a Kolsch, yeast of a Pale ale, and the hoppiness of an IPA, so whether you call it a dry-hopped Kolsch, a Pale Ale or, even, an IPL, you’d be mostly right. Just drink it and stop worrying about the style.

Their fun costumes, musical energy and street charisma have made them a favorite at local festivals, including the annual Mardis Gras Parade. The band is made up of a group of musicians with day jobs dedicated to bringing heritage sounds to the streets of Asheville.
7:00pm Queen Bee and the Honeylovers
A local legend, Queen Bee and the Honeylovers is a dance band that performs classic swing, blues and Latin music. Vocal-driven with an infectious groove, the Honeylovers are guaranteed to put a grin on your face and a tap in your toes.
The Paper Crowns Nicole and Spiro Nicolopoulos are back at One World Brewing West with a live performance. Their musical chemistry is a gumbo of Appalachian folk and bluegrass, delta blues, murder ballads and outlaw country that they cook up into a sound all their own. Only a $5 cover!

Our third annual event will take place on Saturday, June 15th, 2024 at the AB Tech Mission Convention Center on the campus of AB Tech. We will have live entertainment, delicious food from local restaurants, local craft beer and wine. Reggie Headen, Peggy Ratusz, Jaron Pearlman, Keith Snyder, Andy Burns, Kevin Sanders and Jonathan Pearlman will be playing everything from Jazz standards to 60’s 70’s and 80’s dance tunes!
Our theme this year honors the 85th Anniversary of Wizard of Oz remembering that “There’s No Place Like Home!” Throughout the night attendees will have the opportunity to bid on amazing auction items in the Live and Silent Auctions. Tickets from $50

Rob Elliot will be calling some square dances, big mountain circle dances, perfect for newbies and old hands alike.
Root Down Food Truck will be serving some HNG meats and local veg and dairy- their roots run deep in Agriculture of the area, and the farm to table offerings are always dynamite.
Hickory Nut Gap will have a bar serving local beers and non-alcoholic beverages to slake your thirst between reels. We will also have Fairview-based Barn Door Ciderworks serving sips made from NC apples. We cannot wait to dust off our good boots and dance again with y’all.
