Nobody’s Darling String Band is a group of five ladies who are seasoned Old Time musicians, that play lively Mountain Music every Saturday from 4 to 6 at Jack of the Wood. A fiddle, guitars, standup bass and banjo uke round out this engaging and energetic group, playing in the traditional style of Appalachian roots music.

MR JIMMY is the solo project of Blues guitarist & vocalist Jim “Ang” Anderson, who has fronted The Chicago Kingsnakes for the past 35 years. Blue Monday at the Joint next door started as a solo Blues show with Mr Jimmy and has evolved into a Jam Session of sorts. Jimmy is joined with different musical cohorts every week.

Acoustic Old Time/Bluegrass Jam!! C’mon Out!!
Jon Corbin and Hank Bones are two of the pickin-est guitar slingers in the Asheville music scene. As a duo they explore a century of music from old jazz tunes, to bluegrass breakdowns, Chet Atkins style to bossa nova, and a few favorites for good measure.
