WTF Music Festival is coming to Salvage Station on Sunday, September 29th, 2024! Doors open at 12:00PM and the music starts at 1:00PM. Root Down will be serving their delicious twist on Southern Soul Food PLUS we will have our FULL bar open for you to enjoy!
It is crazy how many talented women we have in this town. We need a FULL week to showcase them all and that is just what we intend to do in March during WTF Week. Stay tuned for more details on that. Brushfire Stankgrass is a bona fide Asheville original bluegrass fusion group. The quartet, led by the Saylor brothers on banjo and guitar, delves deeper into the funk/rock/reggae spectrum than most bluegrass jambands do, while exemplifying the musicianship and authenticity of a band that was truly born out of both Asheville’s bluegrass scene and Asheville’s weird rock/jamband scene.

Jackson Grimm marries folk pop melodies with the lonesome sound of traditional Appalachian music. In a region with a strong music culture, it is no surprise that Grimm’s songwriting is representative of his musical birthplace: Asheville, NC. The core of the band continues to play as the One Stringband. While each of the band members demonstrate years of proficiency on their instruments, what sets this ensemble apart from the others are the vocal harmonies and the band dynamics. Audiences can tell when bands have been playing together for years and this group shows that 10-fold.
Pisgah Brewing Company operates an open air outdoor bar in the summer and fall months with live music on Thursdays and Sundays on WNC’s premier outdoor music venue, the Pisgah Brewing Outdoor Stage. Check out our 2024 schedule: here!
