Icehunt’s sound can be difficult to describe but unmistakeable. “dreamworld” Icehunt’s second album takes his sound further than ever before. Country Brunch showcases a goldmine of local country bands that can usually only be found playing late nights in local and regional venues, and brings them out into the light of day for lovers of an early matinee show. FREE SHOW-Centric “jam band”. Since their formation in 2004, Phuncle Sam has been firmly rooted in musical exploration. The band serves up inventive interpretations of Jerry Garcia, Grateful Dead and many others. They have built up a faithful following by using an approach that respects the improvisational traditions of The Grateful Dead, while exploring what can happen when individual band members bring their unique influences and interpretations into the mix.

Squirrel Flower is the stage name of Alternative/Indie, Folk musician Ella O’Connor Williams. The Chicago-based indie rocker beefs up her sound on her third LP. Foregrounding her confident voice and formidable guitar skills, it’s a compact, muscular record guided by a single-minded intensity.
Greg Mendez is an American indie rock musician from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His use of sparse instrumentation—which range from spatial synthesizers to finger-picked guitar montages—emphasizes the narratives and elevates them to the forefront of each composition.
Tombstone Poetry is a 5-piece band hailing from Canton, North Carolina. An eclectic mix of each members’ inspirations – Tombstone fuses Shoegaze, Post-Rock, Folk Rock and more.

Babe Haven is a high-energy all-girl queer punk band that riots in Central NC, with a sound that is both playful and fierce. They draw heavily from the raw, unpolished sound of the 90’s- grunge, punk, hardcore, and riot grrrl.
SWEET SPINE is an exciting new three-piece band making a splash in South Carolina. Channeling the sound of energetic rock mixed with hauntingly serene melodies, the unsuspecting young trio have captured the attention of the East Coast scene as a bona fide indie phenom and the brightest new faces in the Shoegaze and Alt-Rock space.

The Paper Crowns’ Spiro and Nicole are one of the premier duos on the Southeast music scene. They have returned to their jam and psychedelic roots with their full on electric ensemble – The Paper Crowns Electric Band. Their sound is a medley of blues, psychedelic and Southern rock, American folk and jazz, Gospel and funk. The Paper Crowns sound is dynamic and soulful featuring original songs and intrepid improvisation. No Cover, all ages welcome.

Rahm Mandelkorn is an Asheville-based guitarist, songwriter and producer. His music combines elements of indie-rock, soul-jazz and world-music. Rahm plays with a rotating caste of the region’s best players and this night at Shiloh & Gaines will feature local legend and rising star Datrian Johnson.

The Nashville trio consists of past members from indie outfits The Weight and Silver Jews, and, as their name suggests, have a raw country sound. Released by Fat Possum Records in 2020, their self-titled debut album was praised by Pitchfork for being “ragged in all the right places” and landed a spot on the publication’s ‘35 Best Rock Albums of the Year’ list.
Forged in the mountains of Boone, RUGG is a heavy psychedelic trio that deals in the visceral and raw. They blend the ideas of past and present heroes with their own unique flavor of psych-rock to create a sound that’s just as engaging as it is entrancing.

Weight Shift – Formed in the Great Smoky Mountains, during the summer of 2021. Siblings Katie and Seth Hutchinson founded Weight Shift and sought to bring heavy riffs backed with grooving drums . Lua Flora has successfully unified sounds that typically don’t go together. The electrifying passion and introspective lyrics of songwriter Evan Button, meet a mesmerizing blend of Caribbean, Eastern, and American music to create a previously undefined genre; “Beach Folk.”
The Hourglass Kids traverse a breadth of stylistic and emotional terrain that includes roots reggae, psychedelic rock, neo-soul, hip-hop, and jazz-rock.
Wild Roots Rising is an emerging indie-folk band based in Asheville, NC. It is led by songwriters, vocalists and instrumentalists Olivia Moore and Julia Houghton. Their music takes influence from many genres including americana, traditional folk, rock, latin, classical and medicine music.

Destiny Lopez is an indie folk & soul artist, now known as Babe Honey. Most of her songs are inspired by her experiences while living in her van and on the road chasing the perfect wave.
