It’s safe to say Wilson Vest, Gabe Glasser and Espen Raustol are not typical high school students. The trio of 18-year-old seniors, known as Altamont Jazz Project, have played regularly and return now for their third show at White Horse Black Mountain. Melissa Hyman plays cello, Ryan Furstenberg plays guitar and banjo, and both sing in “voices that sound like they were made for one another” (Bill DeYoung, Connect Savannah).
